  1. Un nuevo dispositivo que transforma casi cualquier bicicleta en un vehículo
eléctrico utilizando una aplicación de un móvil… ¿Qué os parece? ¿no es
    genial?

  2. Cool gadget but I can’t see receiving the assistance on any of my rides,
long or short. Guess I’ll accept nothing less than the full credit of
achieving my miles. Check out the Copenhagen wheel and I’d like to hear the
G+ Dfw Cylcling community’s feedback on this.

    practico.

  5. Too expensive, who cares that someone makes it handmade at MIT, this is not
a benefit. Most people just want to improve bike experience and ride
easily. And then you also need a smartphone connected, why the
complication? I just want to sit on my bike and GO.

  6. almost all of the questions and annoyances I see in the comments are
cleared up in the FAQ section of there web site…

    – costs 800$
    – has a wall charger
    – charges when you break or go down hill
    – can charge while peddling if in workout mode
    – the app is NOT required to use the wheel
    – IOS and Android

  7. There is some information lacking. Like what happens when the battery is
empty. Does it start recharge automatically as you are pedaling = really
good workout? What happens if you go faster than 25 km/h, does it start to
recharge, thus making it much heavier to pedal? The picture you get is that
they have just seemed to magically solved the issue that the battery needs
some serious juice. That juice cannot come from pedaling alone, or you
would be really sweaty having to charge the battery with your own mucle
power. They say the battery is replaceable, which is good. I would much
rather be able to disconnect and recharge the battery at home than having
    to pedal up the charge.

  8. Wow! From the technological perspective it is a breakthrough, but (by the
time) the high initial cost makes it infeasible in practice.
    Congratulations!

  9. Everyone claiming that this is a lazy person’s bike is backwards thinking
and ignorant. This is a future hybrid bike solution not a “lazy” invention.
With the acceptance and use of this, more and more people will use bikes.
When the automobile came out, people said it was the lazy person’s horse
carriage. Don’t be ignorant and fight technology, embrace it.

  10. I think this is a great project but $800 for a fucking wheel gtfo seriously
does it cure cancer. I would love this if it were around $100 and I stil
think thats alot imo. (also good idea Im seeing is it should charge your
    device)

  12. Looks like a high-tech..and expensive… replacement for a gear-sprocket
    and deraileur.
Except for maybe a little gain on the downhills(at the expense of
speed)…and the pre-charge before you leave home, the law of conservation
of energy says you can’t get something for nothing.
