  1. @yanickdery Wow, just saw your note – was in Colombia on the bike when you
left it, sorry! I did not use the TraX top box, although I do have the
attachment plate for it and use it as a rack to tie down stuff across the
back. I ended up with a dry sack across the seat for my tent and sleeping
mat, the sleeping bag in another dry sack on top, and a spare gas can where
    the top case would be.

  2. @dacharyc Ok thanks. Im glad I didnt go with the Trax. I bought Jesse bags
and so far I have no complaints. They are water proof very durable and 37
    inches across with 100L combine.

  3. @Jeremybaland Sorry again – missed this note, too! I don’t like how flimsy
the TraX cases feel (and proved to be – had an off in Guatemala that
completely ripped off one of the plastic caps, and I used stickers to hold
it together until Colombia when I got a metal piece riveted there). I don’t
like the plastic caps; the rubber seal is flimsy and comes off; they’re not
fully waterproof. But the new gen addresses some of these shortcomings (and
others) – I would buy again.
