  1. how much do those alloy battery cases weigh? do they make the battery pack
alot more heavy than epoxy board heatshrink batteries.
    im using a 14s 48v linicomno2 20ah which is 7kg. 14series is alot better
    than 13series for 48v

  2. I have been driving my commute almost every day and the best setting for
general driving is the tour mode for sure! What a great kit, the boost mode
makes the motor quite warm though…

  3. Flying there mate.

The speed you plugged in the battery, leapt on the bike and WHOOSH!! off as
though the police were after you I was wondering whether that really was
    your house, haha.

  4. Hello mate, thanks for sharing your video. I would like to ask if you have
pedaling resistance with your kit ?

  5. Awesome hands on video. And good production as well.
I need to set this up on my bike, but I do not want it to look bulky. I
need it to be as clean as possible! Perhaps, using a pack back battery as
you did, but, I think it would generate away too much heat on my back…
What’s your feedback on battery heat? Thank you.

  6. +Jcool721 , what chainring do you have on the motor? 48 or 52? Also, found
you changed your rear freewheel gears? What’s the range of gearing on the
rear? I’m interested in your Marlin conversion because our bikes use the
    same Trek Alpha Gold Frame.

In considering a BBS02 for converting a Trek 8.2 DS. I agree that tooling
along at 18 mph is more than adequate. I hope to retain the ability to use
the bike without the battery attached when riding for exercise or when
riding in a group. I may stay with the 48 tooth front chainring so the bike
is still comfortable to pedal without power assist.

Is the single chain ring aligned to show the full range of gears without
the chain jumping off or wearing unevenly?

  7. Do you or anyone else know if I install the 8Fun 750 on a recumbent trike
if I could put the bike in first or second and be able to motor slowly,
like a tractor up the steepest US roads? Nice video, thank you.

  8. Very nice video about a little known and very stealthy ebike kit. Leaving
the music off and utilizing quality equipment gives the viewer a true sense
of the kits low noise levels.

The Bafang bbs02 is now on my shortlist of kits to try.

  9. hey…looking to get this kit for my Brodie Kayo, where is a good place
online to get the 48v battery from?

    Thanks

  10. Could you make a video of how to wire the battery to the motor cuz there
are none on the internet and what is the name of the battery connecter you
    are useing?

  11. Looks fun. What does it feel like if pedaling without throttle? Is there
much drag? I realize the weight penalty, that can be accepted.

  12. I’ve tried many different places when it comes to plugging in the battery
umbilical from a backpack battery. I find that plugging in by the handle
bars keeps loose wires away from your moving legs and there is least wire
growth when shifting riding positions… so long as your hands stay on the
    bar.

  13. ey! nice vid! how many distance you can reach with a 48v/10Ah battery pack?
do you feel more heavy the bike when you’re climbing in comparision with
    the flat road? cheers!

  14. Hello, how many gears does your bike have? My bike has 21 gears. Will this
system work with three crank plates? Thanks

  15. I bought the same kit but haven’t purchased the battery yet. Very
anxious…can’t wait. Great video. Perfect viewing angle.
