  1. problems with bikes is you are not as protected as you are in a car from
    collisions at low speed. all the time drivers pull out in front of
    cyclists without looking properly 

  2. @TheNoelest that name rings familiar… there are many brands here, it’s a
    very competitive market, and there are factories that manufacture them, and
    then affix a label and sell them overseas. So essentially the same model
    could have different brands or labels on them, depending on in which market
    they are sold. It is very cheap in China, esp. popular to those who can’t
    afford cars.

  4. @TheNoelest you are welcome. They are very cheap in China, this summer I
    bought one for around $350 US dollars. They come in a variety of shapes and
    models. Some are with pedals, some are not. Some are lead-acid
    battery-powered; newer ones are lithium ion battery powered. And you don’t
    need license or permit to ride them. That’s why they are so popular.
